Dove Hunts

Nothing signals the start of hunting season like a good dove shoot.  South Texas is a dove hunters paradise and our fields are managed year round to attract and maintain a large population of white winged and mourning doves.

Wild Dove Package
Early Whitewing-only Season:
     The first two weekends in September (from noon to sunset)
Regular Season:
     Mid-September to early November
     Mid-December to mid January
    
Price (based on minimum 10 hunters):
2-day (2-night) Dove Package
$850 per hunter

Includes two guided 1/2 day hunts, 2 nights lodging, meals and refreshments. Cleaning and packaging of birds is included in the price of the hunt. Smaller groups available - prices vary.

Texas State Hunting License Required:
You will need to purchase a Texas Hunting License.  Out-of-state hunters can get their license online.  For information, call Texas Parks & Wildlife at 800-792-1112 or order online at www.tpwd.state.tx.us.  Dove and waterfowl hunters will need a migratory bird stamp.

Packages include:
  ★ Comfortable rooms at La Perla Lodge with private bathrooms and cable TV.
  ★ Large 12-foot Flat Screen Satellite HDTV
  ★ Delicious Meals
  ★ Nightly bonfire in the large fire pit
  ★ NON HUNTING GUESTS $200/night (room and board)

  ★ Perlitaville Beach Island

Not Included:
Airfare, rental car, shotguns, shotgun shells, liquor (other than beer and margaritas), Texas hunting license, gratuities.

What you need to bring:

  ★ Hunting vest & ear plugs
  ★ Bird bag

All hunting packages begin the first day at noon and end at noon on the third day.

50% non-refundable deposit due with reservation, balance due 30-days prior to hunt.

Private hunts can be arranged during the week or on non-booked weekends if reserved early in the season.  Minimum 10 hunters required at published rates (smaller groups accepted at special rates).  Custom schedules available for all private hunts.
