Whether its shotgun, rifle or pistol our shooting ranges and courses will keep you and your friends entertained. Either between hunts or as a main event, shooting at La Perla is great fun for all.
Sporting Clays Enjoy our challenging sporting clays course. We have designed our course to simulate field shooting. Shooters are presented with a wide variety of targets that duplicate the flight path of game birds, including flushing, crossing, incoming and other angling shots. Our course is laid out in the beautiful natural south Texas surroundings. Often referred to as ‘golf with shotguns’, shooters move from one station to the next to complete the course. Each "station" presents shooters with a different type of shot. At a "quail station," for example, shooters might face flushing "birds" that zip in and out of the brush. At a "decoy duck" station, incoming targets may float in toward the shooter. At any "station," targets may be thrown as singles, simultaneous pairs, following pairs (one target right after the other), or report pairs (the second target launched at the sound of the gun being fired at the first). There are even special "rabbit" targets that are thrown on end and skitter across the ground. Long-range AR-15 Rifle Range Situated over our Waterworld lake, the AR-15 rifle range allows a unique type of shooting experience. Perched atop a hill on the lakeshore, you will have the opportunity to shoot at 10 floating steel targets positioned at different distances on the lake. This shooting atmosphere allows easy detection of hits and misses. Our professional shooting bench is located under a palm palapa shade structure to create a comfortable shooting position. Use our custom built AR-15 to compete with your friends or to hone your shooting skills. Pistol Range - Outdoor La Perla ranch offers an outdoor pistol range with both tactical and adjustable targets set at varied distances. The pistol range can be reserved for use by appointment only. We require a minimum of 6 shooters to open the Pistol range. This is the ideal location to practice shooting or for concealed carry courses and competitions. PRICING Minimum 6 shooters per course.
